Silent slumber fills the house
None but I have dared to stir
Upon the pillows in the dark
In little heads big dreams unfurl
The morning sun's not shown her face
Yet here I am, senses awake
Waiting for just a sliver of light
As dawn decides to make her break
But wait- a glance and I'm rewarded
With a soft, faint glow upon the leaves
The promise of a brand new day
If in my heart I'd just believe
